SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE CLASSES at 9:15 a.m.

Begins Thursday, September 9, 2010 from 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.
This is
another exciting educational opportunity here at Trinity
Lutheran Church.
The title of this special ADULT INQUIRERS CLASS IS: “LUTHERAN
CATECHESIS & THE CHRISTIAN FAITH!!”
This is a 15 lesson course in basic Christian doctrine and
the Lutheran faith. Topics to be studied include:
- Christ and the Bible
- The Work of the Holy Spirit
- God and Creation
- Justification, Angels, Sin
- Holy Baptism
- The 10 Commandments
- The Lord’s Supper
- Jesus Christ as Savior
- The Lord’s Prayer
- The Last Things
- The Church
- The Office of the Keys
- Confession and Absolution
- ...and your questions
If you have always had questions about various spiritual
concerns, this is the class for you! Whether you are
interested in a review of you faith, or an introduction to
Christian teaching, this class will serve both purposes. It also
serves as instruction in preparation for communicant Lutheran
membership in the LCMS.
There will be refreshments and also, babysitting will be
provided for those with children. Pastor looks forward to having
you join us!
Note: Pastor
only teaches this twice per year, so NOW is the time to
attend! Call if you have questions. (Class starts in
SEPTEMBER and will end in DECEMBER before Christmas)
Lutheran Catechesis
 Lutheran
Catechesis is a good review class as well as a introduction to
the basics of Christian doctrine, Luther's Small Catechism,
liturgy, hymnody and the Christian life. Use the links below to

NEW LIFELIGHT BIBLE STUDY
Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. September 13th, 20th & 27th,
2010
Title: "The Books of James and Jude" taught by the Board of
Elders - Eldon Jupe
James and Jude includes:

- Faith in Action
- Taming the Tongue
- Dealing with Conflict
- Manipulated by Money

- Contending for the Truth
- Dealing with Scoffers
Schedule:
- Meets on Tuesdays
- Time: 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
- Refreshments provided
Materials:
- Participant books with take home study sheets
- Study sheets filled out and brought to next class period
- Teacher leads the class through the study sheets
- Summary background and review sheets are also
distributed
The LifeLight Bible study series is used all around the LCMS
for study of all the books of the Bible and for special
foundational studies.
Plan to attend these new and powerful studies taught by the

End Times: A Study on Eschatology and Millennialism
Recordings can be heard from November 2007 - January 2008
This is a ten part bible study by Pastor David Nehrenz
contrasting various views of the end times with the Lutheran
view. This bible study covers the book "The
End Times" which was produced by the Lutheran Church
Missouri Synod. This book is made available from Concordia
Publishing House. Some free copies are available for members of
Trinity Lutheran Church - ask Pastor for details.
