Taught by Pastor Myron Maltz for the Board of Elders. Come study this great book!. As you progress through this 9 session study, you will see how those who are right with God by faith in His Son have been freed from the penalties we deserve.

Pastor's "Inquirers" Class Begins Again!
Thursdays 7:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m.

Another exciting educational opportunity here at Trinity Lutheran Church.
The title of this special ADULT INQUIRERS CLASS IS: “LUTHERAN CATECHESIS & THE CHRISTIAN FAITH!!”

This is a 15 lesson course in basic Christian doctrine and the Lutheran faith. Topics to be studied include:

  • Christ and the Bible                 
  • The Work of the Holy Spirit
  • God and Creation                   
  • Justification, Angels, Sin
  • Holy Baptism                           
  • The 10 Commandments
  • The Lord’s Supper                  
  • Jesus Christ as Savior
  • The Lord’s Prayer                   
  • The Last Things
  • The Church                             
  • The Office of the Keys
  • Confession and Absolution       
  • ...and your questions

If you have always had questions about various spiritual concerns, this is the class for you!  Whether you are interested in a review of you faith, or an introduction to Christian teaching, this class will serve both purposes. It also serves as instruction in preparation for communicant Lutheran membership in the LCMS.

There will be refreshments and also, babysitting will be provided for those with children.

Note: Pastor only teaches this twice per year, so NOW is the time to attend! Call if you have questions and/or know of someone you wish to invite. This class starts in SEPTEMBER and will end in DECEMBER, before Christmas.

LIFELIGHT BIBLE STUDY
Title: “Esther”
Thursday evening October 23rd and 30th at 7:00 p.m.

Taught by Pastor Myron Maltz, the Thursday Night Elder's Bible Study has completed the study of the book of Ruth and will begin the book of Esther but with a delay in schedule.  We will delay the start of the study of Esther until Thursday, October 23.  Please mark your calendars and join us.  
 
(9 sessions) This study is part of the LifeLight Foundations Bible study series of in-depth studies of Bible books. The goal of LifeLight Foundations is that through a regular program of in-depth personal and group study of Scripture, more and more Christian adults may grow in their personal faith in Jesus Christ.

The End Times: A Study on Eschatology and Millennialism

This is a ten part bible study by Pastor David Nehrenz contrasting various views of the end times with the Lutheran view. This bible study covers the book "The End Times" which was produced by the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. This book is made available from Concordia Publishing House. Some free copies are available for members of Trinity Lutheran Church - ask Pastor for details.
